The Cola Apple, native and ancient of Etna, is a variety of apple at risk of disappearance, as well as a Slow Food Presidium.

 

Straw yellow in color, with rusty spots, white pulp, sweet, slightly acidulous and delicately scented.

 

As in traditional recipes, in our Extra Jam the natural preservatives are lemon juice and sugar; pectin gives the right consistency to the preparation; the addition of rosemary gives the jam a note of rough pleasantness.

 

To be enjoyed at breakfast or as a snack or accompanied with semi-aged cheeses (Nero di Sicilia). Gluten free.

Clear

Naturally gluten-free. Our Extra Jam of Cola Apples and Rosemary should be kept in a cool and dry place. Once opened, keep refrigerated.

 

Our extra jam of Cola Apples and Rosemary is produced in our factory in Trecastagni, on the slopes of Etna.
